The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a specialized higher education and research institution established in November 2022 by a presidential decree. It was formed on the basis of the former Academy of the General Prosecutor's Office to create a unified and modern system for training personnel for the country's investigative and prosecutorial bodies. The Academy serves as a key pillar in the nation's legal reform strategy, transitioning from a highly specialized training center into a full-fledged university-level institution.

The Academy offers a continuous education system that includes bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as professional retraining courses. Notable undergraduate programs include "Investigative Activity" and "Prosecutor's Activity," with plans to introduce specialized degrees in "Cyberlaw" to combat digital crimes. The institution is organized into various departments such as Criminal Law, Cyber Law, and Human Rights Protection, and houses specialized centers for digital forensics and anti-corruption research.

International cooperation is a strategic priority for the Academy. It has established partnerships with over 130 foreign institutions and international organizations, including the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the OSCE. The Academy actively participates in global networks like the International Network of AML/CFT Institutes and maintains bilateral agreements with entities such as the French National School of Magistracy and the Prosecutor General's Office of China. These collaborations support joint research, faculty exchanges, and the implementation of international best practices in law enforcement training.
